The 2016 Juno Awards occurred this weekend and there were many stars celebrated. This Canadian event was held in Calgary and is commonly known as the Grammys for Canadian music. It wasn’t just your average award show either. This award show was the first ever shown in 4K!
Adele was the winner of the International Album of the Year award. It would be her only win on the night, but she wasn’t the only star who took home some hardware. The Weeknd was the big winner of the night, winning five awards while Justin Bieber would win two Junos.
The event was quite huge, lasting two nights with the gala dinner happening on Saturday night. Many of the awards given out at the 2016 Juno Awards were done so at this gala dinner.
