Rock N’ Roll Movies You Can’t Forget – Part Two

Music and Rock N’ Roll are perfect together. We love the songs while we watched the movie. Here are a few more movies that made us feel better to rock…

‘Hard Day’s Night’ was one of the first ‘rockumentaries’ that pulled back the curtain on the hottest band in multiple generations, letting us know that the Beatles were real people too. The movie actually gave us the blueprint for music videos, although at the time we didn’t know it.

‘That Thing You Do’ is the perfect, cute, clean cut and somber story of how a band form Erie, PA could accidentally become a one hit wonder and still survive the ride. Tom Hanks starred and produced this lighthearted film.

‘Purple Rain’ starred the actor formerly known as the singer formerly known as Price. Sadly, Shelia E passed away a few months ago, but the movie brought the genius of Prince to light, and we’re glad it did.

‘Wayne’s World’ was vintage 90s and Michael Myers genus all rolled into one. Dana and Michael (can’t forget Christopher Walken) made us forget our troubles, giving a struggling Rob Lowe a chance to kick-start his dreadful career.
