Justin Bieber and the Other Top Songs of 2016

It’s almost April and we’ve seen plenty of great songs hit the airwaves. There are only four artists though that can say they’ve reached the top of the mountain. This mountain we’re talking about is the number one spot on Billboard 100. Let’s break down the five artists who have done so this year…

Rihanna featuring Drake is the latest song to reach the top spot. “Work” has blown us all away in terms of music and video. Do not watch this music video with kids around. “Work” has spent the last six weeks as the number one hit.

Zayn Malik’s “Pillowtalk” was another number one hit, but just for one week in February. Who doesn’t love a former One Direction band member rocking out as a solo artist?

Adele has done quite well for herself since she got back into the music game. Her single, “Hello,” spent what felt like forever at the top over the past few months. In 2016, it spent three weeks at the top.

Justin Bieber has been very impressive with his newest album, “Purpose.” It gave us hits like “Sorry” and “Love Yourself.” Both of these songs spent time at the number one spot on the Billboard 100 chart. In total, he rocked number one for five weeks.
