The Essence Festival is in its 22nd year of existence and has just announced their lineup for this year. The event takes place in New Orleans, Louisiana, and has a jam packed group of artists performing this year, so you won’t want to miss this year’s festival.
One of the big names performing during the even is Leon Bridges. This will be his first time at the event.
Other stars set to perform at the event include Kendrick Lamar, Mariah Carey, Babyface, Eric Bellinger, Tyrese, Dej Loaf, Jidenna, Faith Evans, BJ The Chicago Kid, and Lalah Hathaway among many other great acts.
The 2016 Essence Festival will occur June 30 through July 3 at the New Orleans Superdome.
