The Beginning of Adam Levine

Adam Levine was born on March 18th 1979 in Los Angeles to proud parents Fredric and Patsy, who would ultimately divorce when Adam was seven. Like most children in divorces, Adam spent time with both his mom and dad while growing up. In a way, we’re lucky he went through turmoil and pain as a child, as he feels this opened up his emotional soul, using music to find his inner peace. Maroon 5 is his love, while performing his expression of love.

Adam credits Simon & Garfunkel, Fleetwood Mac, and Beatles as early musical influences. Feeling inspired, Adam joined fellow Brentwood school mates to form the band ‘Kara’s Flowers.’ The boys played their first gig at the famous Whisky a Go Go, being discovered by independent producer Tommy Allen.
