Monday night, Chris Stapleton had the opportunity to win four Grammy awards, but he didn’t quite come away with those numbers. Instead, he won two and likely is very happy with his past year. He dominated the summer with his music, and is already being successful in 2016. Let’s take a look at his two wins Monday night.
The biggest win of the night might have been for Best Country Album. While he lost the Album of the Year award, this win in his Country genre was pretty impressive. Others nominated for the award included Sam Hunt, Kacey Musgraves, Ashley Monroe, and Little Big Town. “Traveller” was a huge hit and we see even more proof with Stapleton’s win for this award.
Stapleton also won Best Country Solo Performance for “Traveller.” He beat out Keith Urban, Lee Ann Womack, Carrie Underwood, and Cam for this award. What an impressive list of nominees!
