Every week, Mediabase puts out their top hits and this week we have a new addition to that list of top 15 songs for Top 40 music. This new group is DNCE and is where Joe Jonas has been hiding lately. He’s one of four members of the group (Cole Whittle, Jack Lawless, and JinJoo Lee being the others) and their hit song is “Cake By The Ocean.”
This new hit sees it’s first time inside the top 15, finding itself at the 13th position. It’s also their lone single, as the band has only been around since last year. They’re coming in pretty hot though and will be a part of “Grease Live,” which airs at the end of this month on Fox.
With the release of “Cake By The Ocean” in September, the band went out and embarked on a 14-date tour at the end of 2015.
