The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards are filling out their performance roster, bringing together global pop stars, rising talent and some intriguing collaborations for this year’s ceremony.
LISA, RAYE, Sienna Spiro, Shaboozey, Gunna, GENER8ION and Yung Lean have joined the lineup, adding even more variety to a show that will already feature Madonna as its opening performer.
LISA is headed back to the VMAs stage with new music in hand. The BLACKPINK star will give the television debut of “SaWaDiKa,” a new single from her upcoming EP, PRESS PLAY, which arrives Oct. 23.
Her return comes with some serious VMA history. LISA has collected 10 career nominations, including four this year, and has established herself as one of the awards show’s most prominent K-pop solo artists.
RAYE will be stepping onto the VMAs performance stage for the first time. The British singer-songwriter enters the ceremony with two nominations, including a Song of the Year nod for “Where Is My Husband!” Her appearance follows the release of her sophomore album, This Music May Contain Hope, and comes while she is touring stadiums with Bruno Mars.
Shaboozey is also getting his first VMAs performance, and he is bringing Gunna along for part of the ride. Shaboozey will perform “Cowgirl” before joining Gunna for the first broadcast performance of their collaboration “High Noon.” Shaboozey has two nominations at this year’s ceremony, while Gunna has also earned two nods.
GENER8ION and Yung Lean will make their own VMAs debut with the world premiere performance of “STORM II.” The first-time nominees are competing in three categories, including Video of the Year, Best Direction and Best Choreography.
Another newcomer to the VMA performance stage is Sienna Spiro. The British singer-songwriter, whose debut album Visitor has helped fuel her rise, is a first-time nominee competing for Best New Artist.
All of those newcomers will share the bill with one of the most familiar names in VMA history. Madonna is scheduled to open the ceremony, returning for her first live performance on the show in 23 years. She heads into the night with 11 nominations.
Snoop Dogg will host the 2026 VMAs live from Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 27. The ceremony is scheduled to air from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. ET on CBS, with a simulcast on MTV and streaming for Paramount+ Premium subscribers in the United States.
And the lineup still isn’t finished. More performers, presenters and special guests are expected to be revealed as the VMAs move closer to showtime.
