Drake Premieres FOMO Film and Reveals 2027 Tour Plans

Drake is extending an already packed 2026 with FOMO, a new film project that brings together music, celebrity cameos and a heavy dose of the rapper’s larger-than-life world.

The project, which Drake began teasing in August, arrives as something considerably more ambitious than a traditional music video. FOMO blends surreal imagery with glimpses of Drake’s lifestyle, including time on the water, workout scenes and an appearance from Sexyy Red. The film also gives fans previews of new music.

Its arrival adds another chapter to what has become a particularly prolific year for the Toronto superstar.

Earlier in 2026, Drake released three albums, Iceman, Maid of Honor and Habibti. The records were originally promoted as components of a single project under the Iceman name before ultimately arriving as separate releases.

The campaign surrounding the music has been anything but understated. Promotion included a massive ice installation in a Toronto parking lot, turning the album rollout into a physical spectacle as well as a musical one.

The strategy was followed by a notable chart accomplishment. Iceman, Maid of Honor and Habibti simultaneously occupied the top three positions on the Billboard 200, giving Drake another unusual milestone in a career already loaded with chart records.

FOMO now pushes the visual side of that campaign even further. Rather than simply accompanying one song, the film presents a wider collection of scenes, personalities and musical previews, creating another extension of the world Drake has been building around his latest releases.

And apparently, he is not planning to slow down once 2026 ends.

During the FOMO premiere on Tuesday, Drake revealed that he intends to head back on tour in 2027. Further details about the tour were not announced.

With three albums, an extensive run of accompanying visuals and now FOMO added to the mix, Drake has turned 2026 into one of the busiest periods of his career. The newly announced tour suggests the campaign could carry well into next year.
