Dua Lipa appears to be back in creative mode, and a new batch of studio photos has fans wondering whether her fourth album is beginning to take shape.
The pop star shared glimpses of recent recording sessions on social media, showing herself behind a microphone and surrounded by the familiar equipment of a working studio. While there has been no official announcement of a new album, the images offer a clear sign that Lipa is spending time making music again.
She is also keeping some impressive company.
Among those appearing with Lipa in the studio are Grammy-winning producer Greg Kurstin, songwriter Ali Tamposi and singer and poet Mustafa. The combination immediately raises the intrigue surrounding whatever Lipa is developing.
Kurstin has worked with an extensive roster of major artists, while Tamposi has songwriting credits behind a number of high-profile pop hits. Mustafa brings another creative dimension to the group as an acclaimed songwriter, poet and recording artist.
Troye Sivan also makes an appearance among Lipa’s latest photos, although there is no confirmation that he is involved in the recording project.
For fans, the timing makes the studio activity especially interesting. Lipa’s most recent studio album, Radical Optimism, arrived in 2024 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The project produced the singles “Houdini,” “Training Season” and “Illusion,” extending a run that has kept Lipa firmly established among pop’s biggest international stars.
The Radical Optimism era was followed by an extensive world tour, which concluded in Mexico City in December 2025. With that chapter now behind her, attention has inevitably shifted toward what Lipa might do next.
The new studio photographs provide plenty of reason for curiosity but not quite enough for an album announcement.
Lipa has yet to officially confirm a fourth studio album, its musical direction or when listeners might hear new material. Her representatives also had not confirmed that the sessions pictured are specifically connected to a Radical Optimism follow-up.
For now, the safest conclusion is also the most interesting one: Dua Lipa is back in the studio, surrounded by notable collaborators and working on music.
What comes out of those sessions remains to be heard.
