Ozzy Osbourne’s legacy will take on a new life this Halloween as Universal Studios transforms the Prince of Darkness into one of the headline attractions at Halloween Horror Nights.
The new haunted house, titled “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness,” will debut at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, giving fans an immersive journey through the rock icon’s celebrated solo career. Rather than focusing solely on scares, the attraction blends horror-inspired visuals with milestones from Ozzy’s musical legacy.
Visitors will travel through scenes inspired by some of his best-known albums while following the story of his rise from Birmingham, England, to becoming one of heavy metal’s most recognizable figures. The experience promises to feature the larger-than-life characters and imagery that became synonymous with Ozzy throughout more than four decades as a solo artist.
The project was created with input from Sharon and Jack Osbourne, who said the attraction captures the fearless creativity that defined Ozzy’s career. They noted that he always embraced new ways for fans to connect with his music and imagination, making Halloween Horror Nights a fitting stage to celebrate his legacy.
The attraction arrives during the 2026 Halloween Horror Nights season, marking roughly one year since Ozzy’s death. For longtime fans, it offers a chance to celebrate the music, theatrical style, and unforgettable persona that made the Prince of Darkness one of rock’s most enduring legends.
