Kacey Musgraves fans in three major cities will have to adjust their concert plans after the singer unexpectedly canceled three dates on her upcoming Middle of Nowhere Tour.
The canceled performances include the scheduled August 20 show in Chicago, August 29 in Boston, and September 2 in Brooklyn. Fans who purchased tickets have been notified through their ticket providers, with refunds being issued automatically.
While the canceled concerts have sparked plenty of questions, Musgraves has not publicly addressed the changes, and no official reason has been announced by her or her team.
The cancellations do not affect the overall tour. Other performances in the same markets remain on the schedule, and the North American run is still expected to continue as planned before the tour heads overseas in 2027.
The tour supports Musgraves’ latest album, Middle of Nowhere, which has marked the next chapter in the Grammy-winning artist’s career. For now, fans are waiting to see whether an explanation for the canceled dates will be provided as the tour draws closer.
