Luke Combs Says Hollywood Isn’t in His Future

Luke Combs has made it clear that fans should not expect to see him trading concert stages for movie sets anytime soon.

Although several country stars have successfully expanded into acting, Combs says that path simply is not for him. The award-winning singer recently explained that he has no desire to pursue an acting career because he does not believe it matches his talents.

Rather than looking for opportunities in Hollywood, Combs remains focused on the parts of his life that matter most to him. Between a demanding concert schedule and raising his two young sons, he says there is little time to take on another major commitment.

His comments reflect the down-to-earth personality that has helped make him one of country music’s most popular artists. Instead of chasing every possible opportunity, Combs appears content to concentrate on making music, performing for fans and spending time with his family.

Even when the idea of playing a friendly high school teacher was jokingly suggested during the conversation, Combs laughed it off, saying he is probably past the age for that type of role.

For now, Hollywood can keep calling, but Luke Combs seems perfectly happy staying where he has built his remarkable career, on the stage and in the recording studio.
