The Wendy’s fast food chain is hiring for a new position, and it’s not for flipping patties on the grill. Instead, the new “employee” will test-taste burgers on camera, all for a six-figure paycheck.
As USA Today reports, through a new contest, Wendy’s is looking to hire a Chief Tasting Officer, who will take on an independent contractor role with the fast-food chain and a $100,000 salary. The grand prize winner, or new CTO, will be hired to create promotional content for Wendy’s, such as taste-testing videos.
“Basically, you’ll get paid to eat Wendy’s, be chill, maybe make some content and maybe even star in ads,” a Wendy’s promo for the contest reads. “Whether its quarterly vlog check-ins, taste trending or whatever, you’ll make cheddar just for liking cheddar.”
