Clarks Launched its First Ever Apparel Collection, Announced a Collab, and a New Creative Director at Paris Fashion Week

Clarks of England illuminated sign and shoe evolution from 1825 to present

Heritage footwear brand Clarks Originals took a step away from their classic Wallabees and boots to bring an apparel line into the fold for the first time ever, and they did it at Paris Fashion Week, to boot (pun intended)! The launch was accompanied by the announcement of Blanche Yu as Guest Creative Director for AW26 to further develop this new lifestyle direction.

First Ever Apparel Collection

As Hypebae reports, the brand’s unisex apparel collection is Clarks Originals’ first time expanding its offerings outside footwear. Clarks is taking a leap, bridging the gap between its signature shoe silhouettes and the wide world of fashion, marking a strategic expansion from footwear into a comprehensive lifestyle brand.

The collection has a similar laidback-yet-refined style to the rest of their classic footwear offerings. Dropping in earth tones and casual fits, Clarks Originals kicked off their apparel essentials in a simple but effective manner. Tees, caps and socks in shades of blue, green, burgundy and brown make up the capsule. Boxy-fit T-shirts with graphics illustrated down the back feature nods to the brand’s most iconic footwear silhouettes: the Wallabee, Desert Boot and Desert Trek.

With retro influences defining the brand’s entry into fashion, trust that there is more where this came from. It’s only the beginning, but Clarks Originals might be the new go-to for head-to-toe dressing going forward.

Collab with NN.07

Clarks Originals was certainly on is toes at PFW this season, also announcing its collaboration with Danish brand NN.07 during Paris Fashion Week, featuring variations on its signature styles, the Wallabee and Desert Boot. As MR reports, both silhouettes are refined through NN.07’s tailored menswear lens, and utilize Gold Rated leather from the legendary Hoffmans tannery. NN07 updates the classic Desert Boot in black leather, with a silver buckle strap, while the Wallabee retains its classic shape in dark brown leather.

Staying true to the brand’s “No Nationality” name, Gustav Emil Loft, Special Projects Manager from NN.07, said, “We’re excited to announce our partnership during Paris Fashion Week. Working with Clarks Originals has felt like a natural fit, with both brands aligned in thoughtful design and a modern interpretation of iconic classic styles.”

The Clarks Originals x NN.07 collaboration will launch globally in AW26, and the debut Clarks Originals apparel collection will be available to purchase via the Clarks Originals website and select retailers later this season.
