Actress, comedian and home design enthusiast Retta is continuing her quest to find the country’s undiscovered ugly in six fresh episodes of Ugliest House in America. New episodes will air Wednesday nights at 8|7c, starting with a back-to-back premiere tonight, January 7.
What to Expect in Season 7
According to HGTV, Season 7 will capture Retta’s hilarious hot takes as she goes inside 15 more properties with shockingly bad designs, cringe-worthy layouts and grossly outdated styles. Based on its ugly appearance, awkward factor and most surprising feature, one house will be crowned the “ugliest house in America” by HGTV and receive a $150,000 renovation completed by Sin City Rehab designer Alison Victoria.
This season — which spotlights Retta’s hundredth hideous house tour — will kick off in the Great Plains, where she’ll explore an off-the-grid mish-mash house, a man-made metal monstrosity and a Rocky Mountain home at 7,100 feet overtaken by unexplained light switches.
