Megadeth Announces Canadian Farewell Tour With Anthrax and Exodus

Megadeth, the legendary thrash metal band, is gearing up to bid farewell — and they’re not leaving quietly. The band has unveiled a set of Canadian dates for their final tour, bringing their razor‑sharp riffs and stage energy to cities across the Great White North in early 2026. The run kicks off February 15 in Victoria, B.C., with additional stops including Abbotsford, Kelowna and more before the North American leg unfolds. Fans will also get the chance to experience two titans of thrash metal, Anthrax and Exodus, opening the shows — a treat for old-school metalheads.

The farewell trek follows the release of Megadeth’s final studio album, scheduled for January 23, 2026. According to frontman Dave Mustaine, the band plans for the farewell tour to span three to five years, giving followers a generous window to catch a final live show. With legacy‑defining tracks, a stacked support lineup and a parting album, Megadeth appears set to go out with full force.

For fans across Canada and beyond, this may be one of the last chances to witness a pillar of metal live — a closing chapter few will forget.
