Gorillaz is heading to Los Angeles with more than just a concert — they’re delivering a full-on audiovisual takeover. The iconic virtual band is launching the American edition of their acclaimed “House of Kong” experience, inviting fans to step into the band’s animated world like never before.
Running from February 26 to March 19, 2026, the exhibit will take place at Rolling Greens DTLA, offering visitors a deep dive into the surreal lore, musical innovation, and visual artistry that has defined Gorillaz since their inception. Far from a greatest-hits gallery, “House of Kong” is designed as an immersive, sensory-rich experience, blending art, sound, and storytelling into an interactive narrative of the band’s animated misadventures.
Originally developed in London by creative director Stephen Gallagher and his studio SWEAR, the project is a collaboration with Gorillaz creators Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. It brings together original animations, multimedia installations, and thematic environments that explore the band’s evolution from early hits like “Tomorrow Comes Today” to their current place as a genre-defying cultural force.
Adding to the excitement, ticket holders for the exhibit will receive exclusive presale access to two live concerts at the Hollywood Palladium on February 22 and 23. These shows will feature Gorillaz performing their forthcoming album, “The Mountain,” in its entirety — giving fans a first listen to the band’s next creative chapter.
For fans in the U.S., the L.A. edition of “House of Kong” marks a rare opportunity to experience Gorillaz beyond the screen or stage. It underscores the band’s ongoing commitment to reshaping how music can be experienced — not just heard but lived. As 2026 approaches, Gorillaz is proving once again that they’re not just a band. They’re a world you can walk into.
