After more than half a century in the spotlight, Journey are preparing to take their final bow on the road. The band has officially announced the Final Frontier Tour, a farewell trek across North America that begins in early 2026. Their plan is bold: roughly 60 dates from February through July, a brand‑new stage show and a set list that sweeps through decades of arena‑rock anthems.
Kicking off February 28 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, the tour winds through major cities and ends the first leg July 2 in Laredo, Texas. The band say this outing is a “thank you” to the fans who carried them through every era, every victory and every transition. With Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain and Arnel Pineda front and center, they’ll revisit classics like “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Faithfully,” “Lights” and “Any Way You Want It,” while also digging into lesser‑played tracks for longtime devotees.
While the lineup features key longtime members, it does mark a departure from the original incarnation: founding singer Steve Perry and early keyboard/vocalist Gregg Rolie are not on the announced schedule. Even so, Schon has made it clear this isn’t a final stop for him personally; he sees the tour as the close of one chapter and the beginning of something new.
For fans, the Final Frontier Tour offers one last chance to sing along and to soak in the collective momentum that made Journey a stadium‑filling phenomenon. It’s a farewell ride—but with the promise of respect for a legacy and gratitude for the millions who believed.
