Pop Revival: Demi Lovato Hits the Road with It’s Not That Deep

After a high-energy album drop and an intimate Los Angeles performance, Demi Lovato is taking her latest era on the road. The pop powerhouse announced a 23-city North American tour in support of her ninth studio album, It’s Not That Deep, released on October 24. The tour begins April 8 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and ends May 25 in Houston, Texas.

Lovato’s Palladium show in LA on October 25 gave fans a taste of what’s to come. “Just the beginning,” she hinted, promising more electrifying nights packed with new music. Joining her on the tour is up-and-coming artist Adéla, whom Lovato called “an absolute star” and “insanely talented.”

The new album marks a vibrant return to Lovato’s pop roots. It stands in stark contrast to her 2022 rock-centered project Holy Fvck, which was shaped by emotional intensity and darker themes. This time, however, she’s all about light, love, and letting loose. Having recently married fellow singer Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, Lovato says her creative energy now comes from a place of joy.

“When I got back in the studio this time around, those songs just weren’t resonating anymore because I’m not in that place in life,” Lovato shared in a statement. “It’s Not That Deep” became both the album’s title and its mission: to have fun and enjoy the ride.

Tickets are rolling out fast. Fans could sign up for presale access until October 28, with presales starting October 30. General ticket sales opened October 31, all available via Lovato’s official website.

With glittering pop anthems and a refreshed sense of purpose, Demi Lovato is ready to turn up the volume—and the vibes—night after night across North America.
