Taylor Swift to Unveil The End of an Era Docuseries and The Final Show Concert Film in December

Taylor Swift announced two major projects that are set to cap off her record-shattering Eras Tour: a six-episode docuseries titled The End of an Era and a concert film named Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show. Both will premiere on Disney+ December 12, 2025.

The End of an Era promises to pull back the curtain on the inner workings, creative process, and impact of Swift’s multi-year tour. The first two episodes debut on December 12, with the remaining episodes rolling out in subsequent weeks. Meanwhile, The Final Show captures Swift’s last night on the tour, filmed December 8, 2024 in Vancouver. The concert film will include performances from The Tortured Poets Department, which were not part of earlier Eras Tour film releases.

Swift’s announcement comes on the heels of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, and follows intense speculation about her next moves. She’s emphasized that she’s “so tired” at the thought of touring again so soon, suggesting these new projects may serve as a graceful bridge into her next creative chapter.

For fans, these releases offer an intimate, layered reflection on a defining chapter in Swift’s career. They promise not only spectacular stage moments but also glimpses of what it takes to build a cultural phenomenon from the inside out.
