Few treats compare to a warm batch of cookies or banana bread fresh out of the oven, but whipping up either one is a time-consuming task, which means we don’t often get to reap the benefits of a homemade baked good after a busy day. That’s where Joanna Gaines wants to lend a helping hand.
As Food & Wine reports, on October 6, Magnolia, the home and lifestyle brand founded by Chip and Joanna Gaines that’s built on the belief that “life’s most meaningful moments happen at home and around the table,” announced that Magnolia Table is introducing a line of frozen baked goods.
The line is available exclusively at Target stores nationwide, Target.com and at the Magnolia Table restaurant take away in Waco, Texas. The frozen baked goodies will focus on the Gaines family’s baking staples with six new products: Jo’s Buttermilk Biscuits, Classic Cinnamon Rolls, After School Banana Bread, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Silo Cookies, and Classic Sugar Cookies.
Unlike some other brands you might encounter in your grocery store frozen section, the Magnolia Table line is crafted with pantry-familiar, quality ingredients like eggs, butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. According to the press release, “each product was intentionally tailored and tested to ensure they deliver the same comfort and delicious homemade taste as baking from scratch.”
“This line of frozen baked goods came from a place of wanting to help make it easier to gather together around the table with your people,” Gaines details in the release. “It’s about simple, real, and quality ingredients, and the confidence that comes with serving something everyone will love. It’s about settling in for those everyday moments that end up mattering most and savoring the taste of home.”
Thanks to the new launch, you can now prepare a batch of four cinnamon rolls in and out of the oven in just 25 minutes — simplifying a baked good that typically requires lengthy rise times and a lot of effort — before spreading cream cheese icing on top.
The brand’s Silo Cookies are also included, a customer favorite at Gaines’ bakery, Silos Baking Co., in Waco, Texas. Just like the Classic Sugar Cookies and Chocolate Chip Cookies released alongside them, these treats come with a dozen cookies per package.
“Our Silo Cookies bring together the best of many worlds: rich peanut butter chips and sweet chocolate chips melt into warm oats, while crunchy walnuts add a satisfying crunch,” the brand’s statement explains. Thanks to the new release, you can now enjoy these signature treats from the comfort of your own home, without lifting a finger or booking a flight to Texas.
In search of something that works for breakfast, dessert, or an afternoon snack? Gaines’ After School Banana Bread uses brown sugar and a touch of salt, and it’s described as the perfect balance between “irresistibly dense and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.”
