Aerosmith and Yungblud Ignite Rock Revival with “My Only Angel”

Aerosmith and Yungblud

The torch of rock ‘n’ roll just got passed — and it’s blazing.

Aerosmith and Yungblud have teamed up to release “My Only Angel”, a charged new single off their upcoming collaborative EP One More Time, set to drop Friday, November 21. The release marks a high-energy fusion of rock royalty and punk-infused rebellion — and fans of both camps are in for a treat.

This surprising alliance was first previewed at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, where Steven Tyler and Joe Perry joined Yungblud onstage for an electrifying tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne. But as it turns out, that was just the beginning.

Describing their time in the studio, Tyler called the experience “plugging into pure electricity” and praised Yungblud — real name Dominic Harrison — as a “positively wild animal” with serious chops. “Here’s this kid that lives his life out loud… and now we’re creating something that bridges generations.”

Perry echoed the sentiment, revealing that he knew they had something special the moment he heard Yungblud’s single: “Hell yeah, this guy’s got the juice.”

The upcoming One More Time EP features a mix of brand-new tracks — “Problems,” “Wild Woman,” and “A Thousand Days” — plus a modern spin on Aerosmith’s own classic, “Back in the Saddle.”

Yungblud, clearly over the moon, said the collab was a lifelong dream realized: “I’m making records with my heroes, the shows are insane every night, and rock ‘n’ roll is waking the f— up whether you like it or not.”

This cross-generational combo might just be what the genre needs — a little jolt of madness, heart, and a whole lot of volume.
