In a solemn chapter of a high-profile federal case, Jasveen Sangha—known in court documents as the “Ketamine Queen”—has pleaded guilty to multiple charges for supplying the ketamine that led to the tragic overdose death of Friends actor Matthew Perry in October 2023. On September 3, 2025, Sangha admitted guilt in Los Angeles federal court to five counts: one for maintaining a drug-involved premises, three for distribution of ketamine, and one for distribution of ketamine resulting in death or serious bodily injury.
During the hearing, Perry’s mother, Suzanne, and stepfather, Keith Morrison, were present—a rare and emotional courtroom appearance for the grieving family. Sangha, a U.S.–U.K. dual citizen, was the last of five individuals charged in connection with the overdose—a case tangled with addiction, secrecy, and illicit distribution networks. Her plea marks the conclusion of a legal pursuit that began with Perry’s untimely death at age 54 from a ketamine overdose, compounded by drowning and other contributing factors.
Sangha now faces sentencing on December 10. With a maximum penalty reaching decades in federal prison, her plea brings a measure of accountability—but also underscores the devastating consequences of uncontrolled access to potent substances.
