Hayley Williams Drops—and Deletes—Surprise Solo Collection in Mysterious Web Release

In a move as enigmatic as it was exhilarating, Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams surprise-released 17 new solo tracks on her website early Monday—only to take them down a little over 24 hours later with a simple message: “Thank you for listening.”

The secret drop, accessible via a code from Williams’ Good Dye Young hair care company, led fans to a minimalist webpage packed with unreleased tracks like “Mirtazapine,” “Hard,” “Negative Self Talk,” and “Zissou.” The site also hosted a video performance from 2017, a lyric book image, and a tongue-in-cheek tee reading “Hayley Williams is my favorite band.”

It’s unclear whether the release was an unfinished album, a personal archive, or an elaborate teaser. But for a brief moment, fans got an intimate look into Williams’ creative vault—just days after Paramore reissued their 2005 debut All We Know Is Falling in a deluxe digital edition to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Now an independent artist following Paramore’s departure from Atlantic Records, Williams seems eager to experiment—on her own terms. While the songs may be gone (for now), the surprise drop signals a new, unpredictable chapter in her artistic evolution.
