Travis Scott Confirms Jackboys 2 Drops This Sunday with Star-Studded Hype

Travis Scott is turning up the heat this summer with the official announcement of Jackboys 2, the long-awaited follow-up to his 2019 Cactus Jack compilation. The album drops this Sunday, July 13, and promises to deliver “speakers and screams at max volume,” according to Scott’s Instagram reveal.

The rollout began with “2000 Excursion,” a cinematic single featuring Don Toliver and Sheck Wes, released earlier this week alongside a flashy YouTube-exclusive video. Produced by Cardo and sampling Ye’s “Power,” the track flexes Scott’s lyrical bravado and visual ambition—complete with luxury cars, street mayhem, and a pit stop at a Formula 1 race.

Jackboys 2 is expected to span 17 tracks and will be hosted by Houston rap legend Bun B. While the full feature list remains a mystery, hints suggest appearances from GloRilla, Vybz Kartel, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, and more—artists who reportedly received custom JACKBOYS-branded Lamborghini SUVs.

Following in the footsteps of the original Jackboys—which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200—Scott is also launching limited-edition merch bundles, including CDs, vinyl, and apparel through his Cactus Jack site.

With his Coachella headlining set and recent accolades, Travis Scott is clearly not slowing down. Jackboys 2 looks poised to be his next major statement.
