Fans Anticipate ‘Telephone’ Part Two as Lady Gaga Confirms Plans

In a recent Vanity Fair lie detector test, Lady Gaga confirmed that a sequel to her 2010 hit music video “Telephone” is still in the works. The original video, a collaboration with Beyoncé, concluded with the message “To be continued…,” leaving fans eagerly anticipating the next chapter for over a decade.

During the interview, when asked about the continuation, Gaga responded affirmatively but did not provide a specific timeline. When shown a photo of Beyoncé and questioned about her involvement in the sequel, Gaga smiled and replied, “Maybe,” suggesting the possibility of another collaboration between the two pop icons.

The “Telephone” video, directed by Jonas Åkerlund, served as a narrative follow-up to Gaga’s “Paparazzi” visual. In the storyline, Beyoncé’s character, Honey Bee, assists Gaga in escaping from prison, leading to a series of dramatic events. The video’s cinematic quality and dynamic performances have solidified its status as a pop culture milestone.

As Lady Gaga prepares for the release of her seventh studio album, Mayhem, on March 7, fans are speculating whether the “Telephone” sequel will be part of this new project. While no official confirmation has been made, the prospect of a continuation has reignited excitement among audiences eager to see the next installment of the saga.
