John Legend and Chrissy Teigen Consider Relocating to New York Following Los Angeles Wildfires

In the aftermath of the recent Los Angeles wildfires, musician John Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, are contemplating relocating their family back to New York City. The couple, who share four children—Luna, Miles, Esti, and Wren—experienced firsthand the devastation caused by the fires, which led to their evacuation. Reflecting on the experience, Legend remarked, “Every time nature shows its wrath, we wonder if it’s time to head back east.”

Teigen shared the family’s evacuation journey on social media, highlighting the challenges of relocating with their children and pets. She expressed her fears during the ordeal, stating, “This is surreal. I’m very scared now. Packing.”

The couple’s history with New York City runs deep; they previously resided there before moving to Los Angeles. Legend noted, “Chrissy and I have always considered returning to New York, where we once lived. We probably will, once our youngest ones grow up a bit.”

The recent wildfires have intensified their deliberations about the move, as they prioritize their family’s safety and well-being.
