Old Dominion’s ‘7 for 7 Residency’ Raises $1.25 Million for Charity at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium

Country music band Old Dominion recently concluded a historic seven-show residency at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, raising $1.25 million for seven charitable organizations. The “7 for 7 Residency,” held from February 3 to 6, 2025, not only celebrated the band’s seven consecutive Country Music Association Group of the Year awards but also set a record for the most consecutive shows in the venue’s history.

The beneficiaries of this philanthropic endeavor include MusiCares, Save the Music, Backline Care, Opry Trust Fund, CMA Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and The Ramsey Foundation. Lead vocalist Matthew Ramsey expressed the band’s motivation, stating, “At a time when charitable organizations are doing more with less, we all felt it was really important to support organizations … .”

Throughout the residency, Old Dominion was joined by special guests such as Bear Rinehart from NEED … , and The War & Treaty, adding unique elements to each performance. Reflecting on the experience, the band shared on Instagram, “We have so many people … .”

In addition to their charitable achievements, Old Dominion hinted at a major tour announcement expected later this month, signaling more exciting developments for their fans.
