It looks like a little bit of Kim Kardashian’s star power rubbed off on her namesake in the animal kingdom! A small saltwater crocodile named “Kim Krocdashian” raced her way to victory at the Berry Springs Tavern’s annual croc race in Darwin, Australia, leaving her reptilian rivals in the dust.
The Unlikely Winner
Kim Krocdashian, a 3-foot-long saltwater crocodile, showed impressive speed and agility as she tore down the grassy track. She won not just one, but both of her races that day, emerging as the clear champion. Her competition, Croc ‘n’ Roll and Slippery Sausage, trailed behind as Kim Kroc cruised ahead to secure her double win.
A Darwin Tradition
The croc race is a long-standing tradition at the Berry Springs Tavern, where patrons gather every year to cheer on six baby crocodiles as they compete on a makeshift track. Despite their small size, these saltwater crocs are from a species known to grow up to 20 feet long, making them the largest crocodiles in the world—and certainly ones not to mess with as they mature.
An Ironic Connection
In a fun twist, Kim Kroc’s big win comes shortly after Kim Kardashian herself dressed as an albino alligator for Halloween. Though Kardashian didn’t elaborate on her costume choice, the timing has fans wondering if there’s some cosmic connection between the reality star and her racing reptile counterpart.
Whether it was pure coincidence or a bit of reptilian inspiration, Kim Krocdashian’s victory has cemented her as the reigning champ of the croc track, proving that even in the animal kingdom, a little Kardashian magic goes a long way.
