Ye Faces New Allegations in Amended Lawsuit

Rapper and producer Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) is facing serious new allegations from a former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, who claims he drugged and sexually assaulted her during a studio session he co-hosted with Sean “Diddy” Combs. The updated lawsuit was filed on October 8 in California and follows Pisciotta’s earlier legal claims against Ye from June.

Allegations of Drugging and Assault
In the amended filing, Pisciotta alleges that she and a client from an artist management company were invited to a studio session hosted by Ye and Diddy. According to the lawsuit, drinks were served to attendees, and Ye’s team reportedly announced that “everybody had to drink if they wanted to stay.”

Pisciotta claims she was given a drink that Ye directed a studio assistant to prepare and serve to her. After consuming only a few sips, she says she began to feel “disoriented” and believes she was drugged (roofied). She recalls waking up the following day with “immense shame and embarrassment,” but with little memory of the events that transpired.

The suit further alleges that years later, Ye referenced the incident in conversation, saying they “did kind of hook up” and providing details about the night in question.

Background on the Legal Case
This new lawsuit builds on Pisciotta’s June 2024 filing, which included allegations of sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wrongful termination. Ye’s legal team denied the earlier accusations at the time. Pisciotta initially worked for Ye as an executive assistant and later became chief of staff for his companies.

Diddy’s Involvement and Legal Troubles
While Diddy was named in the lawsuit as a co-host of the studio session, Pisciotta has not accused him of any misconduct. Diddy is currently facing his own legal issues: he is being held in a Brooklyn jail, awaiting trial after his September 16 arrest on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Legal and Public Fallout
As of now, Ye’s representatives have not issued a public response to the new allegations. The case adds to a series of legal challenges and controversies Ye has faced in recent years, raising questions about his business practices and personal conduct.
