Star-Studded Lineup Set for 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction

In just a few weeks, a legendary lineup of music icons will be celebrated at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024 induction ceremony. Yesterday, the Rock Hall announced an exciting group of performers and presenters who will take the stage on Oct. 19 for the prestigious event.

Set to appear are Busta Rhymes, Dr. Dre, Demi Lovato, Dua Lipa, Ella Mai, James Taylor, Jelly Roll, Julia Roberts, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Lucky Daye, Mac McAnally, Method Man, Roger Daltrey, Sammy Hagar, Slash, and The Roots. The ceremony will be held at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, near the Rock Hall’s home base.

While the specific roles of each performer and presenter remain a mystery, this year’s inductees include music legends such as Mary J. Blige, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & the Gang, Ozzy Osbourne, and A Tribe Called Quest. In the musical influence category, the late Alexis Korner, John Mayall, and “Big Mama” Thornton will be honored, while Jimmy Buffett, MC5, Dionne Warwick, and Norman Whitfield are set to be inducted under the musical excellence category. Suzanne de Passe will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

The ceremony will be livestreamed on Disney+ on Oct. 19, with a special airing on ABC on Jan. 1, 2025, giving fans a chance to relive the unforgettable night.
