GloRilla is set to cap off her incredible year with the release of her debut album Glorious, announced on Thursday (Sept. 19). The Memphis rapper, who has been riding high on the success of her Ehhthang Ehhthang EP, revealed that her highly anticipated LP will drop on October 11. To give fans a taste of what’s to come, she will release the album’s latest single, “Hollon,” at midnight on Friday (Sept. 20).
“GLORIOUS da album dropping 10/11,” GloRilla shared in an Instagram post. “So grateful to be sharing this with y’all and as a little treat I’m blessing y’all with HOLLON tonight at midnight.”
The album’s cover art features GloRilla exuding ’90s R&B vibes, complete with gold hoop earrings and a bold look. Fellow artists like Megan Thee Stallion and Lakeyah, along with fans, showed their excitement in the comments. One fan even declared, “WE UPPPPPP TS FINNA BE SO FYE.”
In 2024, GloRilla made waves on the Billboard Hot 100 with tracks like “Yeah Glo!,” “TGIF,” and the Megan Thee Stallion collaboration “Wanna Be,” both of which remain in the top 40. Adding to her standout year, Glo also toured with Megan Thee Stallion and even met President Joe Biden at the White House in March.
