Sean “Diddy” Combs Arrested in New York Amid Sealed Indictment

Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in Manhattan on Monday, as confirmed by Fox News Digital. While the specific charges against him remain unclear, he was taken into custody in a New York hotel lobby.

Combs’ lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, expressed disappointment with the decision to prosecute, stating, “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist… He is an imperfect person but he is not a criminal.” Agnifilo emphasized that Combs has been fully cooperative with the investigation, having relocated to New York in anticipation of the charges.

U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams, confirmed on social media that a sealed indictment was filed and is expected to be unsealed the following morning.

Earlier this year, Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami were raided in connection to a federal human trafficking investigation. Homeland Security Investigations noted that the raids were part of an ongoing investigation.

Combs has faced multiple accusations of sexual misconduct. In November, Cassie Ventura accused him of rape and “violent behavior,” leading to a lawsuit that was settled a day after it was filed. Additional accusations have surfaced from other women, including claims of sexual assault and coercion. Combs has denied these allegations, calling them an attack on his character and legacy.
