NFL’s Opening Sunday Delivers Drama, Debuts, and Comebacks

The NFL’s first Sunday of the season didn’t disappoint, with Dak Prescott celebrating his record-breaking contract, Caleb Williams securing a win in his debut, and Tyreek Hill turning a rough start into a game-winning performance.

Nine teams fielded new quarterbacks, while eight had fresh faces as head coaches. Legendary quarterback Tom Brady also made his broadcast debut, adding to the excitement.

In Chicago, Caleb Williams made history as just the fourth No. 1 pick quarterback to win his debut, leading the Bears to a 24-17 comeback over the Titans. While his stats weren’t flashy—93 passing yards with no touchdowns—Williams expressed satisfaction with the win.

Dak Prescott, fresh off signing a $240 million contract, made history as the NFL’s highest-paid player. Despite the payday, Prescott’s focus is on leading the Dallas Cowboys to their first Super Bowl in 28 years. His defense dominated the Browns in a 33-17 win, with Prescott promising his teammates Rolexes.

Tyreek Hill sparked Miami’s dramatic 20-17 comeback win against the Jaguars after scoring an 80-yard touchdown. The game followed a brief run-in with the law, adding a twist to his day.

Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions secured thrilling victories, setting the tone for a season full of surprises.
