Post Malone is embracing his country roots in his upcoming album, “F-1 Trillion,” set to release on August 16. The album features collaborations with some of the biggest names in country music, including Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Hank Williams Jr., Morgan Wallen, Brad Paisley, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, Hardy, Sierra Ferrell, Ernest, and Billy Strings. Fans first got a glimpse of the impressive guest list through a leaked image on Target’s website.
Ahead of the album’s release, Malone has dropped three singles: “I Had Some Help” with Wallen, “Pour Me a Drink” with Shelton, and “Guy for That” with Combs. “I Had Some Help” has been a runaway success, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming Malone’s sixth number-one hit. This marks his second chart-topping single of the year, following his feature on Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” in April.
In addition to the album, Malone is set to make his Grand Ole Opry debut on August 14. Brad Paisley, an Opry member, extended the invitation to Malone via social media. Malone will join a lineup that includes Vince Gill, The War and Treaty, Wilson, and more.
Malone has already been immersing himself in the country scene. He recently performed “Pour Me a Drink” with Shelton at CMA Fest’s Spotify House. He also joined Wallen on stage during Wallen’s headlining set at the Stagecoach festival in April, where Malone made a memorable debut by delivering country covers with guests like Dwight Yoakam and Paisley.
With “F-1 Trillion,” Post Malone is set to make a significant mark on the country music landscape, bringing his unique style and star power to the genre.
