The Eagles Expand Las Vegas Residency Due to Overwhelming Demand

The Eagles’ highly anticipated Las Vegas residency is getting even bigger. On Monday, July 15, the iconic rock band announced that, due to overwhelming demand, they are adding four more weekend shows to their upcoming run at the Sphere venue in Sin City. This addition brings the total number of shows to 20.

Comprised of members Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill, and Deacon Frey (son of the late founding member Glenn Frey), the Eagles had already scheduled additional shows for November and December due to fan enthusiasm. The newly announced concerts will take place on January 17, 18, 24, and 25.

As promised, the band’s Vegas residency will offer fans a deep connection to their legendary catalog, including hits like “Hotel California” from their acclaimed 1976 album of the same name. General sale for the newly announced dates begins on Friday, July 26, at 9 a.m. PT at eagles.com.

The Vegas shows mark the Eagles’ first live performances since concluding their The Long Goodbye tour in the Netherlands on June 15. This farewell tour, which celebrated the band’s 50 years of touring and 150 million albums sold worldwide, began in New York City in September, just weeks after bassist Randy Meisner passed away at age 77.

In an emotional statement last June, the Eagles said, “Our long run has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed. But, everything has its time, and the time has come for us to close the circle.”

To commemorate their incredible journey, the band has also released a career-spanning collection titled To the Limit: The Essential Collection, featuring their greatest hits, beloved album tracks, and classic live performances.
