Morgan Wallen is set to turn up the heat this summer with his latest single, “Lies Lies Lies,” scheduled for release on Friday, July 5. Written by Jessie Jo Dillon, Josh Miller, Daniel Ross, and Chris Tompkins, and produced by Joey Moi, the track delves into the emotional turmoil of pretending to move on from a lost love while still holding on.
The new single was recorded at the iconic Studio Two at Abbey Road Studios in London, adding an extra layer of prestige to the release. Wallen’s year has been filled with milestones, including his collaboration with Post Malone on the hit song “I Had Some Help,” which has returned to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a sixth week.
In addition to his musical successes, Wallen has expanded his influence into Nashville’s nightlife. He opened a bar near the Ryman Auditorium earlier this summer, announcing the venture during one of his three sold-out shows at Nissan Stadium. The bar officially opened over Memorial Day weekend.
Wallen’s summer schedule is packed with highlights, including a headline performance at BST Hyde Park in London on July 4. Fans attending the event can look forward to exclusive merchandise, with proceeds from ticket sales supporting The Morgan Wallen Foundation. The foundation, which operates on the belief that all children deserve opportunities to thrive through sports and music, has also pledged $20,000 to London Youth Choirs (LYC). LYC aims to improve access to singing and music for disadvantaged young people.
With “Lies Lies Lies,” Wallen continues to captivate audiences with his heartfelt lyrics and compelling performances, solidifying his place as a leading figure in country music.
