Khloé and Kim Kardashian’s latest feud unfolded during this week’s episode of The Kardashians, centered around an incident involving Kim’s daughter, Chicago’s hair. The tension began when Kim felt criticized by Khloé over the state of Chicago’s hair.
“The other day, when you called me and asked if you can do Chi’s hair, it felt very shaming,” Kim began during their conversation. “You said, ‘Do you mind? Because her hair has so much product in it.’ And I’m just like, ‘I know.’”
In a confessional, Kim shared her struggles from that week, explaining she had asked their mom, Kris Jenner, to help with her younger kids, Chicago and Psalm, as they got ready for school. Chicago had put hair gel in her hair at Kris’ house, which Khloé noticed and commented on via FaceTime, prompting Kim’s frustration.
“You weren’t asking to do her hair; you were letting me know it wasn’t washed,” Kim claimed. Khloé, defending her intentions, responded, “I genuinely wanted to know. If you don’t care, next time I won’t ask, but then you might say, ‘Why’d you touch that?’”
The argument escalated, with Kim expressing how overwhelmed she felt, and Khloé trying to clarify that she was not shaming her sister. “I know her hair looks bad. Thank you for reminding me,” Kim snapped.
Khloé, in her confessional, expressed confusion over the fight, suggesting that Kim was projecting her own frustrations. “It sounds like you’re dealing with your own issues and taking it out on me,” she said. “I wasn’t trying to shame you. I was trying to help.”
The exchange turned personal when Kim accused Khloé of being overly strict and reclusive, comparing her to Brendan Fraser’s character in The Whale. Khloé, visibly hurt, pointed out the hypocrisy in Kim’s criticism, calling it “reverse mom shaming.”
“My sisters always say I’m too rigid with my kids’ schedule, but I just have a routine,” Khloé explained. “Why are we nitpicking my parenting style? Can’t we all just be the moms we want to be?”
The episode highlighted the ongoing challenges and misunderstandings within the Kardashian family, particularly around their differing parenting styles.
