Morgan Wallen didn’t miss a beat when an unexpected fan gift landed on stage during his “One Night At A Time” tour stop at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The country star, known for his hit songs and energetic performances, was serenading the crowd when a fan’s blue underwear was tossed directly at his face.
In a video captured by concertgoers, Wallen, 31, is seen walking toward the edge of the stage, engaging with the audience. The undergarment hit the brim of his hat before falling into his hands. Unperturbed, Wallen scrunched the panties in his hand and continued his performance, moving to the other side of the stage. As he began to sing the chorus of his hit song “I Had Some Help,” featuring Post Malone, Wallen casually tossed the underwear back into the crowd.
This incident follows a controversial episode in April, when Wallen was charged with three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct for allegedly throwing a chair off the roof of a Nashville bar. The Metro Nashville Police Department released a statement on X (formerly Twitter), detailing the charges. Wallen has since publicly taken responsibility for his actions.
The fan interaction in Minneapolis sparked humor online, with one social media user quipping, “If he throws chairs off balconies, you know he’s throwing a thong [off] a stage. Just can’t help himself from throwing things.”
This incident is part of a larger trend of concertgoers throwing objects at performers, which has raised concerns about safety at live music events. Despite the unexpected nature of the fan’s gift, Wallen’s quick reaction and continued performance demonstrated his professionalism and ability to handle surprising situations on stage.
