Celine has just launched a collection dedicated to the Pilates enthusiast. Tapping into the Reformer Pilates craze which has overtaken the world in recent years, last week the French brand announced the launch of a dedicated Pilates collection, which features not only gym gear but also an incredibly luxurious take on a Reformer Pilates machine.
As Harper’s Bazaar reports, the collection really shouldn’t come as a surprise, since the luxury fashion house has super high-end versions of everything from dog bowls and board games to wine racks and hammocks – and apparently now, Celine wants to glam your at-home gym as well.
The collection will be available as of October, and features everything you need to conduct a Pilates workout in style, including the super luxurious Reformer (which is complete with leather panelling in the brand’s trademark Triomphe monogram), as well as weights, kettlebells, yoga mats and blocks. There are also leggings, shorts and sports bras in the collection, along with hairbands, a gym bag and a water bottle. And of course, everything has been given the ultra chic Celine stamp.
The campaign – which was shot by creative director Hedi Slimane – sees friend of the brand and Reformer Pilates devotee, Kaia Gerber modeling the collection in Malibu.
This expansion of Celine’s lifestyle category follows news earlier this year that the house would be also moving into beauty, starting with a single lipstick, also debuting this autumn. The brand already has a popular collection of candles and fragrances, but this marks its first foray in make-up in its nearly 80-year history. Expect lip balms, mascaras, eyeliners, powders and cases as well as nail polishes to follow.
The Celine Pilates collection will be available to shop in October.
