Post Malone Breaks into Country Music with Upcoming Album and Singles

Post Malone is making a bold move into the country music scene this summer. Building on his recent success with Morgan Wallen on their chart-topping collaboration “I Had Some Help,” Posty is ready to solidify his place in the genre. His upcoming country album, titled F-1 Trillion, is set for release on August 16, but he’s already generating buzz with a series of singles.

On June 14, Post Malone and Blake Shelton announced their highly anticipated country duet, “Pour Me A Drink,” which will drop on June 21. The duo first previewed the song at CMA Fest on June 6, and the response was electric. Their performance hinted at a track that blends Shelton’s country charm with Malone’s unique style, promising a crossover hit.

The song’s catchy lyrics reflect a familiar country theme of unwinding after a hard day’s work: “Somebody pour me a drink, somebody bum me a smoke / I’m ’bout to get on a buzz / I’m ’bout to get on a roll / I’ve been breaking my back, just keepin’ up with the Joneses / Y’all know what I mean, y’all know how it goes.”

Fans are eagerly awaiting the official release, expressing their excitement on social media. Comments on the announcement post included:

“I need this song nowwwwww ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“Can’t wait to blast this one 🔊 🤠”
“THE KINGS OF COUNTRY ❤️❤️”
Blake Shelton himself chimed in with a resounding “HELL YEAH!!!!” adding to the hype.

In addition to “Pour Me A Drink,” Post Malone has a slew of other country tracks lined up. His collaboration with Luke Combs, “I Ain’t Got a Guy For That,” is expected to be another standout, along with “Never Love You Again,” “Missin’ You Like This,” and “Left Me In Your Mind.”

With F-1 Trillion and these singles, Post Malone is set to make a significant impact on country music, showing his versatility and broadening his already impressive repertoire.
