Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are proudly embracing their new titles as husband and wife. The couple, who secretly tied the knot in May, shared a joyous Instagram post on Monday, June 3, from their getaway to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
The newlyweds posted a series of heartwarming photos from their trip, where they indulged in games, rides, and plenty of hand-holding. In a playful nod to their recent nuptials, both sported matching trucker caps. Millie, the “Stranger Things” star, wore a pair of denim shorts with “wifey” emblazoned on them and a white hat that read, “wife of the party.” While it wasn’t clear if Jake’s hat had a corresponding phrase, his smiles and embraces spoke volumes.
The photo carousel began with a shot of the couple playing a shooting game, aiming to win a plush prize. Another snap captured Millie hugging a jumbo giraffe with a beaming smile. The pair strolled through the theme park hand-in-hand, and in one tender moment, Jake hugged Millie from behind in front of a Jurassic Park dinosaur.
One of the standout moments was a picture of Millie enjoying a raft ride on the Honu ika Moana at Universal’s Volcano Bay water park. With hands thrown in the air, she looked thrilled to be sharing this experience with her loved ones.
They captioned the post, “Who wants to go to @universalorlando ???? ussssssssss 🤍🤍🤍,” showcasing their excitement and joy.
The pair’s low-key wedding took place in late May, with the newlyweds first spotted wearing their wedding rings in the Hamptons on May 27. Millie had previously expressed her desire to keep the wedding day intimate and private during a 2023 interview with WWD.
“I think probably drawing the curtains, just because there are only so many moments in life that you get only once,” she said about her wedding day. “And to have everyone’s opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me.”
