“And Just Like That… Season 3 Teased with New Cast Addition and Delayed Premiere

Fans of the “Sex and the City” reboot, “And Just Like That,” have much to anticipate as the series gears up for its third season, although they’ll have to wait until 2025. Max announced the renewal last August and has been slowly teasing details about the upcoming season, including a promotional montage clip that has set expectations high.

Despite the long wait following the season 2 finale, which left viewers with cliffhangers and the surprising return of Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), the production is visibly moving forward. Sarah Jessica Parker recently ignited excitement by sharing an Instagram photo from the first season 3 table read, hinting at the new developments with a simple caption: “Here. We. Go. X, SJ.”

Adding to the anticipation, Rosie O’Donnell has been announced as a new cast member. O’Donnell took to Instagram to post a snapshot of her script, revealing her character’s name as “Mary,” which promises fresh dynamics and perhaps new story arcs in the evolving narrative of the beloved characters.

With fans eager to see how Carrie Bradshaw’s (Parker) story unfolds after her poignant farewell to Aidan Shaw (John Corbett) and the dramatic re-entry of Samantha, the next season promises to delve deeper into the intricate lives and relationships of its characters. Michael Patrick King, the showrunner, expressed his excitement about continuing to explore the “Sex and the City universe” with new stories that resonate with both long-time fans and new viewers.
