Snoop Dogg’s Dr. Bombay Strawberry Cream Dream Ice Cream Flavor Is Here

Hey, remember when NFTs were a thing?  During their heyday, Snoop Dogg immortalized his NFT avatar — a Bored Ape drawing named Dr. Bombay — with an MTV Video Music Awards performance with Eminem, a Dr. Bombay-themed collab with Skechers shoes, and in his own line of Dr. Bombay ice creams.

As Food & Wine reports, Snoop’s ice cream brand launched last summer under parent company Bosslady Foods, and its initial run included seven different flavors: Bonus Track Brownie, Cocoa Cream Cookie Dream, Iced Out Orange Cream, Rollin’ in the Dough, S’more Vibes, Syrupy Waffle Sundaze, and Tropical Sherbet Swizzle. An eighth ice cream, Birthday Party, was soon added to the lineup too.

“Ice cream is more than just a snack to me; it’s a way to chill, relax, and get happy,” Snoop Dogg said at the time. “Fans will also notice that my sidekick, Dr. Bombay is the name, face, and persona of this brand. That’s because he’s like a son to me and you always want your kids to be more successful than you are.”

That was then, and this is now. We’re happy to report that Dr. Bombay Ice Cream is still going strong in 2024. In fact, Snoop just dropped his first flavor for the ice cream season. The newest arrival is Strawberry Cream Dream, a combination of strawberry sherbet, vanilla ice cream, strawberry jam swirls, and pieces of golden sandwich cookies. Strawberry Cream Dream is also “presented by” Death Row Records, the Dr. Dre co-founded label that released Snoop’s classic “Doggystyle” and “The Doggfather” records.

According to the company, Strawberry Cream Dream is the first of three new flavors that will drop this calendar year. Right now, Dr. Bombay Ice Cream can be found at supermarkets and retailers Albertsons, Kroger, Publix, Ralphs Market, Safeway, and Walmart, among others. It is also available for delivery through Gopuff. (You can find the closest Dr. Bombay retailer — and a list of the flavors it stocks — on the Dr. Bombay website.)
