The Sweetwater 420 Fest, a beacon for fans of alternative rock and progressive jam bands, has announced its lineup for 2024, with Beck poised to headline the event. This marks the artist’s anticipated return to Atlanta since his performance at the Shaky Knees Festival in 2019. Scheduled for April 20 and 21, the festival will also feature performances by Gov’t Mule, Black Pumas, and Grace Potter, offering a diverse blend of Southern rock, roots, and soulful tunes.
In a notable venue shift, the festival will move to Pullman Yards, a departure from its traditional setting at Centennial Olympic Park and last year’s more intimate location at the Sweetwater 420 brewery. The new venue, a private property, allows for a larger audience and a no-weapons policy, ensuring a safe environment for festival-goers.
Although the 2024 lineup might seem more concise compared to the festival’s heydays at Centennial Olympic Park, it promises a rich musical experience with acts like moe, Larkin Poe, Big Gigantic, and Slightly Stoopid. With tickets already on sale, the festival is set to deliver an eclectic mix of music and culture to Atlanta’s vibrant scene, underscoring the city’s standing as a hub for diverse musical talent.
