Mariah Carey, the iconic “Always Be My Baby” songstress, is set to dazzle Las Vegas once again with her third residency, “Mariah Carey: The Celebration of Mimi Live in Las Vegas,” at Dolby Live at Park MGM. Celebrating the anniversary of her landmark album “The Emancipation of Mimi,” the residency will feature performances on select dates in April, offering fans a chance to relive the album’s hits and other fan favorites.
Ticket sales for the much-anticipated shows begin on February 10, with exclusive pre-sale access for members of various loyalty and ticketing platforms starting as early as February 8. In a gesture of philanthropy, Carey and Live Nation Las Vegas are donating $1 from each ticket sale to The Fresh Air Fund’s Camp Mariah, reinforcing the singer’s commitment to giving back.
This residency marks Carey’s continued love affair with Las Vegas, following her successful stints with “#1 to Infinity” and “The Butterfly Returns.” “The Emancipation of Mimi,” released in April 2005, not only solidified Carey’s comeback but also garnered her 10 Grammy nominations, selling over six million copies in the U.S. and 10 million worldwide. Carey views the album as a pivotal moment in her career, one that introduced her to a new generation of fans and solidified her status as an R&B powerhouse. As Carey prepares to bring “The Celebration of Mimi” to life, fans can anticipate a night of nostalgia, triumph, and unparalleled vocal talent.
