Rachel McAdams Makes Surprise ‘SNL’ Appearance

Reneé Rapp, the 24-year-old star of the 2024 musical remake of “Mean Girls,” received a special introduction on “Saturday Night Live” by none other than Rachel McAdams, the original Regina George from the 2004 classic film. McAdams, who played the iconic character alongside Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert, surprised the audience with her appearance in a chic red pantsuit and purple roll-neck sweater, bringing a wave of nostalgia and excitement to the SNL stage.

The delighted audience cheered as McAdams gracefully introduced Rapp, who performed “Not My Fault” alongside another surprise guest, Megan Thee Stallion. Rapp’s vocal prowess was on full display as she captivated viewers with her performance, solidifying her place as a rising star in the entertainment industry. Jacob Elordi, the host of this week’s SNL episode, also introduced Rapp’s track “Snow Angel,” showcasing her diverse musical talent.

In a humorous sketch, McAdams played a character named Natalie Partman, an actress seeking career advice on SNL. The fun didn’t stop there – Megan Thee Stallion later posted an Instagram photo with McAdams and Rapp, playfully recreating the famous Spiderman pointing meme, symbolizing the meeting of all the Reginas.
