Green Day to Rock Out This Summer

Get ready for a summer of nostalgia and punk rock anthems! Green Day has announced their upcoming North American tour, and it’s not your typical concert experience. The iconic band will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of their seminal album “Dookie” and the 20th anniversary of their critically acclaimed “American Idiot” by performing both albums in their entirety at each show.

“What a f****** moment it’s going to be,” says bassist Mike Dirnt. “We’ve never done anything like this before. And there’s a really good chance we’ll never do it again.”

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for fans to experience these groundbreaking albums live and in their full glory. “Dookie,” released in 1994, catapulted Green Day to mainstream success with its catchy melodies and rebellious spirit. Hits like “Basket Case,” “When I Come Around,” and “Longview” remain staples of alternative rock radio to this day.

The tour kicks off on May 31st in St. Paul, Minnesota, and will wrap up on September 2nd in Seattle, Washington. The band will be joined by a number of special guests, including The Interrupters, Weezer, and Fall Out Boy.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on January 26th. Don’t miss your chance to see Green Day perform these classic albums live!

Here are some additional details about the tour:

The band will be playing both albums in their entirety, in chronological order.
There will be a short intermission between the two albums.
