Kaley Cuoco, best known for her role in “The Flight Attendant,” recently shared a challenging experience she faced while flying with her daughter, Matilda, for the first time. The new mom, who welcomed her first child with actor Tom Pelphrey in March, opened up about this incident during her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” while promoting her new film “Role Play” on Amazon Prime Video.
Cuoco, who has been candid about her motherhood journey on Instagram, recounted the Thanksgiving flight incident that left her and Pelphrey “so angry.” Anticipating the difficulties of flying with a baby, the couple brought along Matilda’s sound machine, which successfully soothed her to sleep amidst the flight’s turbulence. However, the situation took a turn when a fellow passenger, through a flight attendant, requested them to turn off the sound machine.
The request was met with disbelief and frustration by Cuoco and Pelphrey. Cuoco humorously shared her disbelief and frustration, illustrating the common challenges faced by parents while traveling with infants. The story took a slightly humorous turn when, after the plane landed, the same passenger commented on Matilda’s cheerful demeanor, a remark Cuoco jokingly related to her understanding of why some incidents escalate dramatically.
Despite the unpleasant encounter, Cuoco highlighted the joy of motherhood, acknowledging the challenges but also celebrating its incredible moments. Her experience resonates with many new parents navigating the judgments and challenges of raising a child in the public eye.
